1st of all, vehicles rarely get damaged while being transported. 99% of the time, the vehicles are delivered in the same shape that they were picked up in.
But in the Transportation Industry, things can happen. So, we at ASAP Transport Solutions want to educate you about this process, so you know exactly what you are getting into when shipping an automobile.
IF DAMAGE OCCURS WHILE YOUR VEHICLE IS IN TRANSIT:
The Insurance Company requires that the Customer notates damage on the Inspection Report at the time of delivery. We want to walk you through those steps, just in case something like this happens.
When the driver arrives to pick-up your vehicle, they will fill out a full inspection report notating any dings, dents, scratches, etc. PRIOR TO EVEN TOUCHING YOUR CAR, and loading the car onto the trailer.
Then, when your car reaches the delivery location, you will inspect the car again once it is delivered.
If there are any damages, you MUST NOTATE THE DAMAGES ON THE INSPECTION REPORT AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY. Then, contact us immediately so that we can help you file a claim with the insurance company.
